Using MS PowerPoint create a presentation that covers ALL the points given in
each question.
For an example in the October Hunt the first question has three points to be made on why the leaves change colors.
Do NOT just copy and paste, read and think about the information first. Select
what you think is needed to answer the questions. It is important to properly cite
all Internet resource. You can find information on how, at the bottom of this page.

E-Mail me your finished project as an attachment.
Include your name and the name of the project in the subject line of the E-Mail.
My E-Mail address is whenry18@yahoo.com
Insert your block number where the question mark is now.. 1 2 3 or 4.

Citing Sources

It is important to properly cite all Internet resources which you use for speeches, written reports, or
multimedia projects. You would not turn in a research report without a bibliography, and giving credit for information, pictures, sounds, and videos gathered from web sites is equally important.

While there are many different ways to cite a web site, our guideline is a basic outline for you to use.
I encourage you to include the items below in any citation whenever they are available.

  1. Author's name if available. (Last, First)
  2. Title of web site in italics. (or in quotation marks if article from newspaper or magazine)
  3. Date web site was posted or last updated. (6/15/06)
  4. URL (http://...)
  5. Title of publication underlined or in italics. (if article from newspaper or magazine)
  6. Date you accessed the web site. (9/21/06)

    Examples:
    For a generic web site:

Smith, Joe. The Amazing World of Animals. 5/6/05.

    http://www.amazinganimals.com. 9/15/06.

For an article from an online newspaper or magazine:

Smith, Joe. "McGwire Hits His 100th Home Run." 9/2/03.

    http://www.baseballdaily.com/090298/mcgwire.html.

    Baseball Daily Digest
    . 9/21/06.
