In the Construction Technology program you learn to cut, fit, and assemble wood and other materials for the construction of buildings, highways, bridges, docks, industrial plants, boats, ships, and other structures. In this career you can work as a journey-level carpenter, general contractor, specialty trade contractor, independent contractor, or in heavy construction. Instruction involves off-campus sites that may vary each term. Different projects are reviewed to fit the nature of work and desired skills you seek. It also allows you to gain experience in the field of the Construction Technology and learn the necessary skills for your  career development.
