Troubleshooting

Before you ask for technical support, please reassess the following protocols:

1. Check the power cords. Are they plugged in?  Is the surge protector turned off at the floor?

2. Is the network cord ( yellow) connected to the computer and the phone jack ?

3. Program not responding ?  CTRL+ALT+DEL

4. Program still not responding?  Shutdown, not restart. Be patient.

5. Ask the kids. They probably know the answer.    

6. Where are you booting from? If a CD is in the drive, strange messages appear.        

7. Pay attention to the error messages. Write them down word for word on the work order.

8. Send all work orders to the Media Center and I will fax them for you. Work orders must have the make of the  computer and the exact serial number.
